I run Gold Bird Group: IT support, cybersecurity, and AI for small businesses in Palm Beach County. When you call, you reach the person who does the work — the help desk, the computers, the accounts, the network, and the backups.
The job has two halves: keep everything running and protected, then help you do more of what you already do better than your competitors.
I have built and run IT, network, and security infrastructure for fifteen-plus years. Twelve of those years were also spent inside freight — driving, brokering, running operations, and running a warehouse with fifteen to thirty people reporting to me. That is where I learned what a small office needs from IT: systems that stay up during the workday, accounts nobody shares, and someone who answers.
What I work on
- Day-to-day IT for offices of five to thirty people, on the Gold Bird IT Plan.
- Cybersecurity: email protection, two-step sign-in, managed antivirus, and tested backups.
- Office and warehouse networks, Wi-Fi, printers, and scanners.
- Cloud and private AI: moving files and servers to the cloud, and AI that runs on hardware you own.
- AI for small teams: Claude set up on your own account, and automations for the work that repeats.
Every client owns their accounts, licenses, and files. I work as their administrator, not their gatekeeper.
Freight and logistics
Freight is where my operating experience comes from, and freight clients get the benefit of it: payment-fraud controls, load-board access, and warehouse Wi-Fi that keeps scanners connected. For freight operations I also apply the Zero Trust Freight Security Framework — our own, adapted from the federal FEMA 426 layered-security model. IT for freight and logistics.
I also founded D74 Technologies, which works on supply-chain trust intelligence.
